First Birthday
Today we celebrated Marc-André's first birthday.
Obviously my parents and siblings joint the party, they just live some few kilometers away, but to our great pleasure also Ulrike's parents took the long trip from Baden-Württemberg to be with their youngest grandchild. Marc quickly realized this is a special day, and that this day was about him. Well, no wonder with all the gifts he got.
I was quite happy to see how much he enjoyed his new marble-runs-house. On the other hand: His aunt and uncle also played with it later on, so it must be some great toy ;-). But, actually I'm suprised how quickly he learned to launch plastic balls using the small hammer belonging to the house.
Hard to believe that the first year is over already. It was a year full of joy and surprise. We never could have hoped for getting such a smart and friendly little boy.
