Hello Sean-Lucas

This Sunday at 11:36, after a short but heavy trip, our son Sean-Lucas was born. Our second Sunday child. He weights 3720 g, is 51 cm tall and a real power pack. No wonder that his motions were painful for Ulrike!

Contractions started first in the night from Thursday to Friday, but the heavy pain Sean-Lucas caused by resting on one of Ulrike's nerves stopped them again. Already being in the hospital, considering Ulrike's back and hip pain, we made an appointment to induce labour on Saturday morning. Just after the third dosis medication was stopped, to let Ulrike rest during the night. Her body was convinced to start labour. Sunday at 9:00 - Marc-André and me just had finished breakfest - Ulrike called: "Guess it's about time, contactions now happen every five minutes." Bag opend short after 11:00 and few contractions later, at 11:36 we could welcome our little son.

Once again it was amazing to watch and help during the birth. Even more amazing to welcome the baby. The miracles of life!

Big question left: How would Marc-André react?

PS: This is Marc-André as new-born baby. The resemblance is stunning!

Hi there Sean-Lucas. Your older brother already set very high standards in terms of awesomeness but you will surely top that! When will YOU beat your brother in chess?

Hallo Ihr lieben Vier,
herzlichen Glückwunsch zu Eurem zweiten Sohn. Wir freuen uns schon Euch in der nächsten Zeit besuchen zu können, um Sean-Lucas kennenzulernen.Und Marc ist ja auch schon richtig gross geworden...
